HANABI TAIKAI (2023)
| Production of fireworks was introduced to Japan from China where gunpowder
was first used in history. The Japanese liked hanabi and it became one
of the most important outdoor events in the lives of the people of Edo
(Tokyo). Hanabi Taikai at the Sumida River in Tokyo on July 29, 2023 - though the event is most famous, it is difficult for ordinary visitors to see and enjoy the fireworks displays because of high rise buildings alongside the Sumida River and too many viewers visiting Asakusa Recommended places of Hanabi Taikai in Tokyo are Adachi's Hanabi Taikai on July 22, 2023 at the Arakawa River near Kita Senju/ Edogawa-ku Hanabi Taikai on Aug. 5, 2023 near Shinozaki at the Edogawa River/ Katsushika Hanabi Taikai on July 25, 2023 at the Edogawa River near Shibamata.
