Yokota AB Japanese-American Friendship Festival
Each year, Yokota Air Base in the western suburbs of Tokyo opens its gates and welcomes its off-base neighbors to visit and see the sights, sounds and tastes of Friendship Festival. The two-day-festival is large in scale with many attractions. It gathers about 200,000 visitors every year. Atmosphere is very friendly and for Japanese visitors, American foods are special - many come to enjoy them. Also, for airplane fans, it is a rare chance they can see military aircrafts closely.
