Jindai Botanical Gardens
Roses
| Jindai Botanical Garden is the only metropolitan botanical garden in Tokyo which opened in 1961.
About 100,000 trees and brushes of 4,500 species are planted in the space
of 12,063 acres. The gardens, reminiscent of the Musashino region, provide
a place to enjoy beautiful trees, grasses and flowers in all seasons. The
rose garden of Jindai Botanical Gardens is famous and many people visit

Jindaiji Temple
| Jindaiji Temple is a Tendai sect buddhism temple built in 733. Surrounding
the temple are many soba restaurants, food stands, souveneer shops and
waterwheels evoking an image of Edo-period old Japan making Jindaiji Temple
a hidden gem in suburban Tokyo. Jindaiji Temple and Jindai Botanical Gardens
are located adjacent in a walking distance. The temple is also known for
